This is how Mt.Fuji looks around 4am during spring. There are many lakes around Mt. Fuji and each of them offers different views. This photo was taken across the Lake Kawaguchi, through the Kawaguchi town. It is extremely peaceful over there, especially before the dawn. No picture will convey how amazing this view was, but I hope this shot comes as close as possible to it. More great photos of Mt. Fuji are coming, so follow my blog here so you won't miss them.

Back from Fuji in Tokyo with over 50GB of photos and movies. I have a bucket of coffee, 567 doughnuts, salonpas patches glued all over my sour body, and I diving into photo editing. Here is a historical shot, that I took just before my old Sony camera died on me, R.I.P. I snapped this from the Fuji Express Bus, it is a view of one of many elevated highways of Tokyo. This is how tight and dense things are in here, enjoy the view while waiting for upcoming amazing views of the Mt. Fuji.

Hire a photographer in Tokyo Buy original Chinese and Japanese calligraphy art Perspective and angle are extremely important in photography, and repositioning your camera by a few centimeters can change your photo from OK to fine art. I was out yesterday hunting for some cool architecture shots in Tokyo and found this. It is a photo of a building shot through a modern chrome sculpture standing nearby. There were only a few minutes to grab this shot, as I wanted the sun reflections included. The sun angle was very steep (early morning), and i had a narrow gap between it rose too high up on the sky.

Hire a photographer in Tokyo Buy original Chinese and Japanese calligraphy art So you guys see the amazing end results in a form of beautifully edited images coming from travel photographers, but you should know that this is one hell of a tough job. Here is my gear that I will be taking with me for a few days trip to Lake Kawaguchi near Mt.Fuji. Cutting long speech short it is about 30kg+. So yeah, photography is fun, fun, fun, as long as yuo have a donkey that carries this junk around. Now...I wonder where can I get a donkey from....

Hire a photographer in Tokyo Buy original Chinese and Japanese calligraphy art I took this sunset view of Tokyo from the Bunkyo Civic Center. Look closely and try to find the Mount Fuji in there. Can you see it? Now check out this photo which was taken exactly from the same location, only with a different lens. Amazing thing what a different perspective or compression can do to a photo, isn't it?

Hire a photographer in Tokyo Here is another shot that I took last year during the Tokyo Game Show. I have so many unedited shots on my hard drives that I decided to slowly start working on them so I can share them with you. I cannot remember which game this demon or dragon is from, so if anyone of you does, feel free to message me, and I will post it here. Tokyo Game Show or any other geek or electronics related show in Japan is always fun, and since I live across the street to the second largest exhibition hall in Japan (I think Osaka has the largest one), there is plenty of events for me to choose from. Follow this blog for more pictures of Japan!

Hire a photographer in Tokyo Nakagin Capsule Tower is one of the most unique and famous buildings in Tokyo. It was build back in the '70s based on the metabolism architecture concept. You can see the exterior on one of my photos from last year, here. While taking photos from outside is fine, to be able to shoot inside you need to obtain a permit, and let me tell you, it ain't easy. This shot is one of hundreds that I took for an ongoing film project for a movie producer in UK, and it is a view from a room of one of the residents.

Hire a photographer in Tokyo Tokyo is like a hunting ground for architecture photographers, you simply go out and there it is. All you need to do is to find the right spot to stand to find that interesting perspective and angle. I love converting my architecture photography into black and white, as it emphasizes the form as colors may be a distraction, although sometimes rich colors can add a lot to an urban scene. Below: office area in the Tokyo Bay area of Chiba.
Telephoto zoom, lens flare, reflections, distorted shapes, double exposure and a bit of fun in photoshop - this is just as much fun as cooking an exotic dish. Shimbashi is one of my favourite areas for hunting down some cool architecture shots and it never disappoints. I wanted to go for long exposure shots but the weather was so dull and uninspiring that I had to rethink my ideas and went ahead with photos that I could use for some psychedelic edit. Here, have a go at this brilliant ambient tune by Stellardrone, that I listened to while shooting this and then editing.
I pass here nearly every day, and it is nothing really to look at but from one spot it actually makes up for a quite pleasing architectural shot. Naturally, I had to have a bit of fun in photoshop and a few Topaz filters. Enjoy the simple lines and colors!
