So, I was sitting at home editing photos, minding my own business, when I heard a loud smash, and then the car horn went off and kept going on. So I thought a car crash. My wife went outside and she rushed back in to drag me outside. She said come on and grab your camera, the car is upside down. I have seen accidents in Japan, hell, I even was in one of them, but I have never seen a car parked on its rooftop. So here you are, the police, the fire brigade, the ambulance people, and two relatives of Michael Jackson. Oh, the driver was fine, and no it was not a woman.

Here is one of my shot of the Tokyo Tower just after sunset. This is also a view towards the very central Tokyo - Minato ku. Just behind the Tokyo Tower to the left, you can see famous Mori Tower, a 62 store building with a smashing 360 degrees open panorama of the city. This is a manual blend of two photo done in photoshop. I felt that the sky was a bit too bright and the dynamic range was too wide for one exposure. Recently I rarely create HDR photos, and if I do they are all done manually without any automated software. The process is much more time consuming, but I am getting better results and I have much more control over the image.

Hire a photographer in Tokyo Buy original Chinese and Japanese calligraphy art Tokyo - the Earth capitol of mad rush, stress, the most dense infrastructure, crazy technology, a city that is a home to more people than the total population of most of the countries in the world. For a photographer this is a toy store with never ending things to play with. You do not chase photos in Tokyo, you just sit down and they line up waiting patiently to be picked up. Below photo was shot from WTC building in central Tokyo, a building with quite a view.

Hire a photographer in Tokyo Buy original Chinese and Japanese calligraphy art Oh dear god I cannot even tell how I fucking LOVE this photo. It is priceless. This Japanese lady was in my shot and normally I would just wait for her to move aside, but when I saw this scene it was one in a million. This photo defines everything you need to know about Japan. Everything. The culture shock, the weirdness, the anonymous society, the do's and don'ts, the glass walls, the confined life style, or if you wish in one word - the wtfkenss. On the other hand, it shows the refined culture woven with strict rules, the timidness, the origin of unfinished sentences and well trained politeness. This is Tokyo, ladies and gentlemen.

Hire a photographer in Tokyo Buy original Chinese and Japanese calligraphy art Scenes like this one are not an unusual sight, though it has been a long time since I saw anyone sleeping on a bike. But the truth is that working conditions in Japan are nuts, work and companies are still treated by a lot of Japanese as the most important thing in their life. You can see them sleeping in their cars, because instead of going back home they prefer to take a power nap. I even saw people sleeping on the office floor or a few merged chairs. Japan can seem to you as a rich country, but the true quality of life is fairly low. No one realizes it though, being too busy running to or from work. When I go to shoot in the early morning, say 4 or 5 am I see people going to work, and then you can see the same people going back home around 11pm. If this isn't crazy I don't know what is.

Hire a photographer in Tokyo Buy original Chinese and Japanese calligraphy art Here is another photo that I took for Makuhari Messe international event complex in Tokyo. This is a ultra wide panorama of one of the conference rooms. I really enjoyed the symmetry broken by the spot lights rail to the right and the projector windows to the left. The symmetry is broken but the weight of the elements on both sides is well balanced. Makuhari Messe is definitely one of my favorite spots to shoot. Initially I edited this photo in color, but it was asking to be converted into black and white. It is much more striking, and I could push the contrast and drama much further.

Hire a photographer in Tokyo Buy original Chinese and Japanese calligraphy art There is a great elevated view point in the Fujikawaguchiko city, and it is located on the top of Kachi-kachi mountain. There is a rope way gping all the way up there, but on that day it was out of service. So, we have climbed up the mountain, and guess what, there was absolutely no one there. Just the two of us with this spectacular view. So we stayed there for about hour and a half and kept snapping photos like this one. This is a panorama stitch of 12 vertical photos, showing large part of the Fujikawaguchiko city laying at the feet of Mt. Fuji.

Hire a photographer in Tokyo Buy original Chinese and Japanese calligraphy art Today I was testing my new monitor for photo editing and here is the result. I must say, the quality of the panel is insane, it is so good it is disturbing. Now I need to play with the calibration settings and see how it works for different purposes, like photo printing, web publishing, etc. Anyways, this was shot during early morning hours just after sunrise, with the sun hitting the wet rocks and the top of Mt. Fuji. Amazing view, well worth the wait. A bit of a shame that the lake was not partially fogged in, but I guess one cannot have it all.

Hire a photographer in Tokyo Buy original Chinese and Japanese calligraphy art Over 60,000 people have visited the Tokyo bay beach in Chiba to see the Red Bull Air Race, which has been brought to Japan for the first time this year. I live 5 min walking distance from the beach so I thought to myself, oh well why not. The best seats tickets were going for 130,000 yen, which is a bit steep for a few hours of low altitude roaring, but I found a few cool spots to shoot, spots that were selling the atmosphere of the even much better than close up shots. of the places. I am not sure if this photo wont be too dark, my both monitors that I used for photo editing have exploded (one of them literally exploded), so I am waiting for a new monitor which will be delivered next week.

Hire a photographer in Tokyo Buy original Chinese and Japanese calligraphy art In the middle of Lake Kawaguchi at the base of Mt. Fuji stands this tiny shrine. The only way to get there is by a boat or through the shallows. There is a road and a bridge just behind it, on the opposite side of the lake. I shot this with a telephoto lens to remove all civilization from the photograph. Mt. Fuji is to the right, but including it in a shot would mean including the city buildings as well, so |I shot it towards the Kachikachi mountain, from which you can admire a stunning view of Mt. Fuji.
