Ah man, I took like 20minutes or so to get this shot. I saw those shadows moving at the entrance to the Makuhari Messe Exhibition Hall, they were some people there preparing for an event, when I saw this I was oh god damn this looks delicious. The calligraphy wasn't there, so I added my own, it is so good to be a versatile artist, and joggle things mixing them all together. This is one of my favorite shots that I took on that day. Oh, and the writing means "illusion", in seal script.

Here is a really cool shot captured by my wife when I was in my element taking photos inside the Makuhari Messe Event Hall. It is also a great example to show how much more dramatic a photo can be if you include a scale reference. Whether you are photographing architecture, mountains, waterfalls or anything huge and massive, adding a person or anything else that is an indicator of a size and scale can really make a huge impact.

Hire a photographer in Tokyo Buy original Chinese and Japanese calligraphy art I have spent 2 days photographing and filming Makuhari Messe International Convention Complex, which is one of my favorite architectural structures in Tokyo. It is huuuge, and I probably could camp there for two weeks and still have things left to shoot. Absolutely love it. I am going back there at the end of May to continue working on the project. If you are in Tokyo you should definitely visit Messse, as not only it is an amazing place to see, but there are tons of international events happening here, like game shows, car shows, technology trade shows, food and drink events, it is juts an endless list of awesomeness. It is very easy to get there from Tokyo Station, you hope on Keiyo line and 30min later you re there.
Here is a panorama photo of the Messe Event Hall with capacity of 8000 seats total and 15,500 m2 of floor space. It was really thrilling to be there alone there photographing its superb architecture. Oh this place was priceless. Net year I have to travel to photograph Mt. Fuji a bit earlier in April, and capture some images like this with sakura blossom all over the trees. We were a bit late this year for this. But then we found this small park along the shore of the Lake Kawaguchi, and the view was just a killer. I want to revisit this place at sunset in autumn, too.

Hire a photographer in Tokyo Buy original Chinese and Japanese calligraphy art Here is another photo of Mt. Fuji, taken from the streets of the town near the Lake Kawaguchi. I managed to shot this just before going back to Tokyo. The lenticular cloud was fully formed, and it had a really amazing shape. 20 minutes later it started to dissipate and weather begun to change. The umbrella cloud is always the omen of weather shift, so we were really lucky to be able to get the best out of it.

It is a panorama stitch of 4 photos, and I decided to process this shot as black and white, and then play with textures and various filter to make it look antique and add some toning to it.

Hire a photographer in Tokyo Buy original Chinese and Japanese calligraphy art Together with my wife we have spent countless hours over the period of few days on the the other side of lake Kawaguchi from 3:30am, which is about 30min before twilight. I must say it was one of the most peaceful and amazing spots I have seen. Mt. Fuji emanates with amazing power at the same time being very tranquil and soothing. Here is one of the low angle photos of Fuji with the first sun rays hitting the very top of it.

Hire a photographer in Tokyo Buy original Chinese and Japanese calligraphy art We were so lucky to be able to see this amazing sight. It started to form over Mt. Fuji around 5am, just before we left Kawaguchiko. This shot was taken around 6 am, when the umbrella cloud (笠雲) was nearly fully formed. I wanted to capture the first rays of sun on Mt. Fuji with the lenticular cloud above it. This is a panoramic photo stitch of 3 shots, taken from a window of my hotel room. Yeah, I know you all hate me :-)
