Hire a photographer in Tokyo
I snapped this today in Asakusa in Tokyo, just in front of the Sensoji temple, which is one of those places haunted by tourists like an old mansion in a movie. Thanks to this, and other attractions, like traditional riksha drivers, the place is a gold mine for any type of photography, but especially for street photography. It allows you to blend in and wait for the photo to come before you, which is what most of us photographers do often times. What I like about this shot, aside the traditional outfit they all wear, and the old Japan feel to it, that each of those three main subjects has a completely different attitude and body language. The guy near the bride is stressed like a kid before his vaccination, fair is fair, he just got married so he should be, the girl owns the scene and is on top of things, she is actually looking straight at me. And the riksha driver looks pro, powerful but elegant, which corresponds with the occasion. I converted it to black and white for two reasons, one - I thought it will look more toned down and classy, and two, that guy on the right hand side of the frame was wearing a jacket so yellow, it would make a canary look pale.
