Roppongi Hills is located in the dead centre of Tokyo, and it is probably the largest newly developed chunk of land of the Metropolis. If you are visiting Tokyo just for a short spell of time, Roppongi Hills will probably be a great place to swing by. You have everything there, from restaurants, shops, through a massive cinema, concert hall, to a spectacular view deck on the roof of a 52 floor Mori Tower with a 360 panorama of Tokyo, which to access you sadly have to pay a fee, but it is well worth it especially near the sunset hours. On winter you can clearly see a Mt. Fuji from there. All the photographers will appreciate that there is no glass divider between you and the view, although if you do go there on winter, dress up twice as warm. The winds will chill you like a lonely cucumber in a fridge.
